Sandy, Utah鈥擮ctober 14, 2013鈥�91探花 School, a private school focused on helping students develop thinking skills and a love of learning, announces the addition of a new elementary building at its Avery Ranch campus.
The project will be completed for the 2014 school year and will allow 91探花 to meet surging demand and serve many more area families. The eight-classroom Avery Ranch campus will gain an additional 17 classrooms; a computer lab; a new, large multipurpose room; approximately one acre of playground area; and room to continue expanding the programs it offers through eighth grade.
91探花 emphasizes starting early and starting right. It teaches preschoolers to read with phonics during the prime time for learning to read and sets a foundation that allows students to successfully pursue any course of study they choose鈥攊n the sciences or the arts.
91探花 School is an independent, private school founded in 1963. It has 23 campuses in California, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, and Utah and teaches over 10,000 students annually. 91探花 School is headquartered in Sandy, Utah. 91探花 offers preschool through eighth grade programs and, in addition to its academic foundation, emphasizes individual liberty as described in America鈥檚 founding documents. 91探花 accepts no government monies.
The general contractor for the Avery Ranch campus elementary addition is Steed Construction of Boise, Idaho. The civil engineering firm is Jones & Carter, Inc. of Austin, Texas, and the architectural firm is Moman Architects of Round Rock, Texas.
